Putting Prevention Into Practice: Every Patient, Every Time

We are pleased to have this forum to highlight, share, and spread evidenced-based as well as other successful practices throughout Kaiser Permanente and the community. These modules are designed to provide the nursing staff with additional knowledge and tools needed to sustain current gains and achieve the bold goal of zero Hospital-Acquired Pressure Ulcers.

Topics will include:

Nurses are the care providers and patient advocates who have the greatest impact preventing Hospital Acquired Pressure Ulcers. As leaders of the patient care teams, nurses are accountable for ensuring high, quality, safe patient care. It is our hope that each of you, after viewing these presentations, will be energized, dedicated, and committed to the goal of zero Hospital Acquired Pressure Ulcers.
